LESLEY WHELAN

Lesley is a mixed-media artist based at Coventry's Canal Basin, who received her art training in Birmingham. Her work has been widely exhibited, including a solo tour of the UK following a year-long residency at the University of Birmingham's Botanic Garden.

Curiosity has led her into some unconventional projects-most notably a collaboration with a mathematician - which attracted funding form Arts Council England and other partners.

Her work is held in corporate, hospital and hospice collections and she regularly takes on commissioned pieces.
